VISAS

Visitors from the EU, America, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa are not required a visa to enter Peru, but must have a valid passport.

ARRIVAL

All international flights land at Lima (LIM). An RVPeru representative will meet you at the airport and transport you to your Hotel or Camper.

DRIVERS LICENSE

A valid driver license from your country will permit you to drive our vehicles for the duration of your visit.

CREDIT CARDS & CURRENCY

RVPeru accepts Visa and MasterCard.
All major credit cards are accepted by most businesses in Peru.
ATM machines are available throughout the country for extracting cash. Check with your bank for charges.
The local currency is the SOL (S/.)
US$ Cash is easily exchanged for local currency and accepted for payment at most businesses in major cities.
EU Cash is easily exchanged for local currency in Lima and Cuzco.

ELECTRICITY

Electricity in Peru is 220 volt
12 volt appliances can be charged in campers and vehicles.

WEATHER

There are 32 distinct weather patterns in the world; Peru has 28 of them. Be prepared for sunny days on the beach, but also bring a jacket for the cold mountain nights. We will supply you with more precise weather info depending on your plans.
